Term Review 2 (Easter)

We have finally completed our performance piece. The beginning of this term was very tough, as me and the rest of the group were painstakingly practicing each song again and again in order to eliminate any problems or mistakes.  Once our performance was finished, we found that we were running just under 15 minutes so we decided that we would do one more song to bring our running time closer to the required 15 minutes.  We were given two weeks to practice our chosen song and then recorded it in the same fashion as last time.  This brought our running time to closer to the 15 minutes. Once we had completed this, all that was left was to evaluate our performance.  We later found out that our performance was marked at a Distinction which was beyond what we had hoped for and we felt that we had achieved above and beyond what we had set out to do at the beginning of the year. We felt that our performance was something to be proud of especially as we got more marks than we accepted or hoped for and it meant that our year of hard work and effort actually payed off.
