Evaluation
Over the year, I have learn't a great deal and have widened my musical knowledge. At the beginning of the year, I set out to improve my guitar skills and to further my understanding of genres and techniques. I feel that over the course of year 11, I have managed to achieve my goals. I have gained experience in working with a group, which has improved my communication skills, our set list feature a lot of unfamiliar songs and has enabled me to learn more about different genres, and I have developed my skills as a musician. This course has introduced me to songs that have forced me to play at a faster pace than I usually do as well as, learn more complex parts than I have before. Furthermore, I have developed my improvisation skills due to the blues jams that my group did as a warm up, increasing my fingerpicking speed and capability.
