Piano - Mr Eldred
Week 1
Back to school but no lesson today.
Week 2
Was supposed to have a lesson today but the teacher didn't show up
Week 3
Unfortunately, I was unable to attend my piano lesson today due to a very important work deadline in the lesson that I would have had to leave.
Week 4
Today I was finally able to come to my instrumental lesson. After speaking to my teacher, we decided to look through jazz grade one. Mr Eldred played most of the songs in the book to see which ones we felt were best.I then started to chose my favourite pieces,
Week 5
Today me and sir decided to start looking on Inchworm which is one of the grade 1 pieces. Firstly, he played then song to remind both of us how it goes, and then we started to learn the first eight bars which were quite tricky due to alternating hand work.
Week 6
Today, I continued work on the grade one piano piece Inchworm. I started off with playing some warm up scales in the key of G. I then started to recap the first eight bars of Inchworm that I learnt last week. I am still finding it hard , because I am struggling to get the hang of the alternating hand work.
Week 7
Today, I began with some basic warm up scales in the keys of C major and G major. Me and sir then decided to dedicate this lesson to reading sheet music as I am currently not very good at it. I worked on a piece called Pogo Waltz and after about ten minutes I had it pretty much nailed.
Week 8
Unfortunately I missed this lesson due to illness
