YEAR 10 BRIEF: "Your school is hosting a charity event and have requested that you play 15 minute performance during it."
Response:
This brief is relatively open to interpretation which allows us to play whatever we like, as long as it is suitable for the audience and is unlikely to offend. From this brief, we can infer: the running time must be around 15 minutes, it will be at school, it will be in aid of charity and the majority of the audience will be adults.
Pre-production Meeting Notes:
Before we started rehearsals, the group: Me, Genna, Bryony, Ollie and Amy, needed to sit down and discuss what songs we wanted to play. To try and prevent any disagreements or set changes later on in the year, we had to agree on every last song,which meant we spent almost a whole lesson choosing our set as well as discussing our different roles within the group. By the end of the meeting, we were sure of our parts and had decided on our set list which would average at around fifteen minutes.
